Protasis (řec. námět, tvrzení) a apodosis (řec. vysvětlení, dodatek) mohou znamenat: * V lingvistice jsou protasis čili předvětí a apodosis čili závětí dvě části větné periody, podmíněné věty ve tvaru: „Pokud protasis, potom apodosis“.
