Qianli chuan (Chinese: 千里船; pinyin: qiānlǐchuán; lit. 'thousand league boat') were paddle wheel boats used in medieval China. The boats were driven by human pedaling and were able to cruise hundreds of kilometers per day with no wind blowing.
