The Reserve Officer Training Unit (Abbr.: ROTU, Malay: Pasukan Latihan Pegawai Simpanan – PALAPES) is a military programme that trains undergraduate students to be reserve officers for the Malaysian Armed Forces. Those who complete the training will be commissioned as officers in the , either as Second lieutenants in the Territorial Army Regiment (Malay: Rejimen Askar Wataniah) and the (Malay: Pasukan Simpanan Sukarela Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia), or as Acting Sub-lieutenants in the (Malay: Pasukan Simpanan Sukarela Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia).
