Essa utilizza piuttosto le N-ribosil- e le N-alchildiidronicotinamidi. Gli idrocarburi policiclici aromatici (come il benz[a]antracene) ed estrogeni come il 17β-estradiolo ed il dietilstilbestrolo sono potenti inibitori dell'enzima. Il dicumarolo è invece un inibitore più blando.
