Richard Sutton (16 January 1674 – 23 July 1737), of Scofton, Nottinghamshire, was British Army officer who fought in the War of Spanish Succession, and a politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1708 and 1737. He was primarily a Whig, but on occasion voted as a Tory.
