El comtat de Romanați era un comtat (en romanès: județ) del Regne de Romania, al sud-est de la regió històrica d'Oltènia. La seu del comtat era Caracal. El comtat estava situat a la part sud-oest de Romania, a la part sud-est d'Oltènia. El comtat limitava a l'oest amb el comtat de Dolj, al nord amb el comtat de Vâlcea, a l'est amb els comtats d'Olt i Teleorman i al sud amb el Regne de Bulgària. El seu territori comprèn ara la part sud-est de l'actual comtat de Dolj, la part centre-sud de l'actual comtat d'Olt, i una petita part a la part sud-oest (al voltant d' ) del comtat de Teleorman. El comtat es va dissoldre amb la reforma administrativa del 6 de setembre de 1950. El 2017 es va suggerir per primera vegada una proposta per tornar el nom de Romanați al modern comtat d’Olt per canviar el seu nom pel de "Comtat d’Olt-Romanați" però es va celebrar un referèndum local els dies 6 i 7 d’octubre de 2018 no ha aconseguit els vots suficients per validar-la i, per tant, la proposta de canvi de nom ha fallat. Romanați County was a county (Romanian: județ) in the Kingdom of Romania, in southeastern part of the historical region of Oltenia. The county seat was Caracal. The county was located in the southwestern part of Romania, in the southeastern part of Oltenia. The county was bordered on the west by Dolj County, to the north by Vâlcea County, to the east by the counties of Olt and Teleorman, and to the south by the Kingdom of Bulgaria. Its territory now comprises the south-eastern part of the current Dolj County, the central-southern part of the current Olt County, and a small part in the southwestern part (around Islaz) of Teleorman County. The county was disbanded with the administrative reform of 6 September 1950. A proposal to bring back the name Romanați to the modern-day Olt County for changing its name to "Olt-Romanați County" was first suggested in 2017, but a name referendum held on 6 and 7 October 2018 failed to get enough votes to validate it, and thus, the name change proposal was unsuccessful. Il distretto di Romanați è stata un'unità amministrativa di primo ordine nel Regno di Romania, situata nella parte sudorientale della regione storica di Oltenia, tra i fiumi Olt e Danubio. Il capoluogo era la città di Caracal. Il distretto fu abolito a febbraio 1968, in seguito alla riorganizzazione amministrativo-territoriale che voleva correggere gli errori fatti nel 1950, quando il paese venne suddiviso in regioni e raioane (plurale di raion), situazione considerata non in linea con le peculiarità e la tradizione del Paese. La costruzione del tribunale del distretto di Romanati dal periodo tra le due guerre. Il monumento storico, noto come Palazzo di Giustizia a Caracal, fu costruito nel 1897 e si trova in Str. Iancu Jianu no. 37. Attualmente qui opera il tribunale distrettuale di CaracalMappa del distretto, con la disposizione e il nome dei plăşi, nel 1938. (it)
