Seni era un funcionario del Antiguo Egipto, que sirvió como Virrey de Kush bajo los faraones Thutmose I y Thutmose II. Como tal, tenía los títulos de "Hijo del rey de Kush (Sa nesut en Kush)", "Supervisor de los países del sur" y "Alcalde de la ciudad del sur (Tebas)". Como Hijo del rey en Kush, era el principal funcionario a cargo del gobierno de las provincias de Kush.

Dort wird er auch als Königssohn und Vorsteher der südlichen Fremdländer bezeichnet. Zwei Titel, die typisch für den Vizekönig von Kusch sind. Eine biographische Inschrift aus dem nubischen Fort Semna kann auch ihm zugeordnet werden, auch wenn dort sein Name nicht erhalten ist. Demnach wurde er unter König Ahmose I. in ein Amt (vom Amtstitel ist nur Vorsteher erhalten) befördert und wurde später unter Amenophis I. Scheunenvorsteher des Amun und gleichzeitig Leiter der Bauarbeiten in Karnak. Unter Thutmosis I. wurde er nach dieser Inschrift, Vizekönig von Kusch. Er scheint noch in den ersten Regierungsjahren von Hatschepsut im Amt gewesen zu sein. Eine Inschrift aus Semna scheint ihn noch im zweiten Regierungsjahr von Hatschepsut zu belegen. Im thebanischen Grab des Djehutynefer wird als Vater des Grabinhabers ein Bürgermeister von Theben namens Senires erwähnt. Es ist möglich, dass es sich hier um dieselbe Person wie Seni handelt. Sein Amtsnachfolger war Penre. Seni is mainly known from the inscription on two doorjambs found at the Nubian fortress of Kumma, where his titles are listed including overseer of the double granary of Amun. The inscription is not dated, but there was found a biographical inscription at Semna where there is reported that an official was promoted by Thutmosis I to a king's son. The name of the person in the inscription is lost, but there also appears the title overseer of the double granary of Amun, indicating that this inscription might belong to Seni.
