La bousculade d'Halloween à Itaewon est survenue le 29 octobre 2022 lors du festival d'Halloween à Itaewon, un quartier de la capitale de Corée du Sud. Au moins 156 personnes sont mortes et 133 autres sont blessées. Cette bousculade est la pire catastrophe survenue en Corée du Sud depuis le naufrage du Sewol en 2014, qui a tué plus de 300 personnes. On the night of 29 October 2022, a crowd crush occurred during Halloween festivities in the Itaewon neighbourhood of Seoul, South Korea. At least 158 people were killed and 196 others were injured. The victims were mostly young adults. The crowd crush is the deadliest disaster in South Korea since the sinking of MV Sewol in 2014 and the largest mass casualty event in Seoul since the Sampoong Department Store collapse in 1995. It is the deadliest crowd crush in the country, surpassing a 1959 incident at the Pusan Municipal Stadium in which 67 people were crushed to death. (en)
