Shamim Hashimi (Urdu/Persian/Arabic: شمیم ہاشمی; Hindi: शमीम हाशिमी) born Syed Muhammad Shamimuddin on 14 August 1947, is an Urdu and Persian poet. He is basically a poet of Ghazal. He has also written poems of other forms of poetry in different meters.
