Stéphane Travert (* 12. Oktober 1969 in Carentan) ist ein französischer Politiker der Partei En Marche. Travert wurde am 18. Juni 2017 in die Nationalversammlung gewählt, um das Department Manche zu repräsentieren. Er war vom 21. Juni 2017 bis 16. Stéphane Travert, né le 12 octobre 1969 à Carentan (Manche), est un homme politique français. Membre du Parti socialiste (PS) de 1988 à 2017, il en est un cadre local et national à partir des années 2000. Il est élu député dans la 3e circonscription de la Manche lors des élections législatives de 2012. Alors qu'il est situé à l'aile gauche du PS, il se rapproche d'Emmanuel Macron comme rapporteur de son projet de loi et devient en octobre 2016 délégué d'En marche, devenu La République en marche. Il est réélu député lors des législatives de 2017, puis nommé ministre de l'Agriculture et de l'Alimentation dans le second gouvernement d'Édouard Philippe. Il est de nouveau député depuis octobre 2018. Il est également conseiller régional de Basse-Normandie de 2010 à 2015, puis conseiller régional de Normandie de 2016 à 2017. (fr)
Stéphane Travert (born 12 October 1969) is a French politician who has served as member of the National Assembly for Manche's 3rd constituency since 2018 and previously from 2012 to 2017. Travert began his political career in the Socialist Party, which he first joined in 1988. He held several local and national executive positions in the party during the 2000s before being elected to the National Assembly in Manche's 3rd constituency in the 2012 French legislative elections. Although Travert began his tenure on the left wing of the Socialist group, he gradually grew closer to Emmanuel Macron while serving as rapporteur for the latter's Macron Law in 2015. Travert left the Socialists to join En Marche! and Territories of Progress in 2016 and became a national delegate for En Marche! in October of that year. Travert was re-elected in the 2017 French legislative elections before being named Minister of Agriculture and Food in the second Philippe government. He returned to the National Assembly in October 2018. Before entering the National Assembly, Travert served on the Regional Council of Lower Normandy from 2010 to 2015 and the Regional Council of Normandy from 2016 to 2017. (en)
