Swimming in the Dark is a 2020 novel by Polish writer Tomasz Jędrowski. Bloomsbury published the work in English in the UK in February 2020. The Polish publishing house Osnova published a simultaneous Polish translation by Robert Sudół as Płynąc w ciemnościach. William Morrow published the English-language edition in North America in April of the same year. The writer’s debut novel, it is a gay love story set in the closing years of the Polish People's Republic. It was the subject of a "hotly contested" six-way publishing auction.
