The Last Shadow Puppets je pop rocková indie kapela formovaná Alexem Turnerem z Arctic Monkeys a Milesem Kanem, který hrál například v , ale především se proslavil právě Last Shadow Puppets a svojí sólovou drahou, kde spolupracoval i s lidmi jako Lana Del Rey. Kapela byla založena v roce 2008 již v tu dobu dlouholetými přáteli – Alex Turner a Miles Kane se poznali kolem roku 2006 na jednom z koncertů Arctic Monkeys při jednom z jejich prvních turné po Británii. V roce 2008 také vydali první společné album The Last Shadow Puppets, The Age of the Understatement. The Last Shadow Puppets är ett projekt av Alexander Turner från bandet Arctic Monkeys, Miles Kane från bandet The Rascals och kompositören/producenten James Ford. I augusti 2007 rapporterade NME att sångaren Alex Turner från bandet Arctic Monkeys och sångaren Miles Kane från bandet The Rascals, skulle släppa albumet The Age of the Understatement tillsammans med James Ford. Kane och Turner har lärt känna varandra genom att Kanes tidigare band var förband åt Arctic Monkeys under deras turné i Storbritannien 2007. Kane har även hjälpt till med låtmaterial och spelar till exempel gitarr i låten "505". (sv)
