United States congressional delegations from Vermont (original) (raw)
These are tables of congressional delegations from Vermont to the United States Senate and United States House of Representatives. Vermont is the only State that has never sent a woman to Congress. Despite its status as a heavily Democratic-majority state, it has only sent one Democratic United States Senator to Congress in its entire history; Patrick Leahy, currently serving. The current dean of the Vermont delegation is Senator and President pro tempore Patrick Leahy, having served in the Senate since 1975.
