Viewpoint Media Player (VMP) is a browser graphics rendering plug-in originally produced by Viewpoint Corporation, a subsidiary of the marketing company Digital Generation, Inc. (Nasdaq: DGIT). A predecessor of VMP is the browser plug-in MetaStream from the once acquired company MetaCreations.
