Actualment es troba integrat en el districte de Shinjuku, a Tòquio. (ca) Yodobashi (jap. 淀橋区, -ku) war ein Stadtbezirk der Stadt Tokio (Tōkyō-shi) in der alten Präfektur Tokio (Tōkyō-fu). Er entstand 1932 bei der Vergrößerung des Tokioter Stadtgebiets und vereinigte die bisherigen Gemeinden Yodobashi, , und Ochiai. Nach der Auflösung der Stadt Tokio 1943 war Yodobashi ein präfekturunmittelbarer Bezirk der neuen Präfektur Tokio (Tōkyō-to) und unterstand somit der vom Innenministerium eingesetzten Präfekturverwaltung. Mit der Neuordnung der Tokioter Verwaltung nach dem Ende des Pazifikkriegs wurde Yodobashi 1947 mit und zu Shinjuku vereinigt. On October 1, 1932, the towns of Yodobashi, Okubo, Totsuka, and Ochiai were merged into Yodobashi ward. In 1947, it was merged with Yotsuya and Ushigome wards of Tokyo City to form the present-day Shinjuku ward. It covered 9.33 square kilometres (3.60 sq mi) and 51,090 people as of October 1, 1945, shortly after the end of World War II and after mass loss of population due to Bombing of Tokyo.
