돌잡이는 돌잔치에서 쌀, 붓, 활, 돈, 실 등을 펼쳐놓고 아이가 집는 물건을 아이의 장래와 관련하여 미래를 점쳐보는 의식이다. 요즘은 마이크나 청진기 등 여러 가지 물건을 추가하기도 한다.
