Coming in December 21, 2024 EST
The Disney Treasure is the upcoming sixth cruise ship owned and operated by Disney Cruise Line, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. She and the Disney Wish are tied for being the largest ship in the fleet and is the second of the _Wish_-class. She will enter service on December 21, 2024 and will be followed by her sister ship, the Disney Adventure in Spring 2025. The other five ships in the fleet are the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish.
History
In early 2019, the company placed an order for a new class of ship, named in public documents as the Triton class. However, the ships now follow the standard naming of class after the first ship. In 2016, the line announced it would acquire two ships, as yet unnamed, are described as larger than Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy but with an equivalent number of staterooms. A third ship of the class was announced on July 15, 2017 at the D23 Expo. The delivery date was changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
