Thank You For Making Our Grand Celebration a Success!

On Saturday, we proudly welcomed over a thousand alumni, donors, friends and community members to our new home at 8025 Grand Ave. The Grand Celebration was a tremendous success, and it would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible staff, faculty, facilities and leadership team. From the White Coat Ceremony to the Purple & Proud Campaign finale to the alumni reunion and open house, each of you played a vital role in making this celebration memorable. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our donors, we are thrilled to announce that the Purple & Proud Campaign has raised $57,106,171.13, far exceeding our goal.

Our mission to educate and inspire the next generation of health care professionals is at the heart of everything we do. The enthusiasm of our students, alumni, faculty, staff and the entire community was palpable throughout the weekend’s events. It is this shared commitment that continues to drive us forward, fostering an environment where innovation and excellence thrive. As we move into this new era at DMU, your efforts remind us all of why we are DMU Proud.

With deepest gratitude,

Angela L. Walker Franklin, Ph.D.
