Chaumard (French pronunciation: [ʃomaʁ]) is a commune in the Nièvre department in central France.[3] part of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Located within the Morvan Regional Natural Park, near the artificail lake of Lac de Pannecière.[4]

As of 2021, the estimated population was 200. The village has a few amenities catering to the daily needs of the Chaumardois (the residents of Chaumard).[5]
