In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Wan Hassan is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Jamak. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.

Wan Jamak bin Wan Hassan (born 22 November 1957) is a Malaysian former footballer, currently working as the Head of Youth Development at Johor Darul Ta'zim FC since 2015.[1]
Wan Jamak was a former football player for Johor and the Malaysian national team.[2] In 1980, He also part of Malaysia squad in the AFC Asian Cup in Kuwait.[3][4] He had also coached several team in the Malaysian domestic league, and also coached the Malaysia national football team.[5][6][7][8]
