La Temporada 2016-17 del Pro12 de rugby (también conocida por motivos publicitarios como Guinness Pro12 2016–2017) fue la 16.ª edición de la liga profesional de rugby union conocida originalmente como Liga Celta.
De entre los 12 equipos que participaron esta temporada, 4 de ellos son irlandeses: Connacht, Leinster, Munster y Ulster; cuatro galeses: Cardiff Blues, Newport Gwent Dragons, Ospreys y el Scarlets; dos italianos: Treviso y Zebre; y dos escoceses: Edinburgh y el Glasgow Warriors.
El campeón fue el Llanelli Scarlets que derrotó a Munster Rugby por 46 a 22 en la final disputada en el Aviva Stadium.[1]
