I'm Gunna Sing the Doom Song Now!

Here we are, this is what I have been working on in spits and spurts over the last couple of days or so.
This is my tribute to the crazy genius that is Jhonen Vasquez.

Most people would know his work as the dude who created Invader Zim, but prior to this most excellent cartoon he brought out some fantastic comics such as Squee and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac which were just as hilarious in his weird and twisted way.

If you haven't read any of his earlier stuff I really recommend you going out and finding it.

This piece is a mash up of a handful of his characters spanning across his books and of course the Zim cartoon.

For those playing at home the characters here are (from the bottom, left to right)...

Todd aka Squee (Squee), Fillerbunny, Pepito (Squee)
Happy Noodle Boy, Zim (Invader Zim), Tenna... in a Bear Suit (I Feel Sick)
The Tallest (Invader Zim), Mini Moose, Nny (Johnny the Homicidal Maniac)
... and of course there is Gir Riding a pig t the top there.

This was completely done in Pitt pens after laying down a quick pencil sketch.

I have no plans to colour this at all but if anyone else feels so inclined to do so you are more than welcome (as long as you let me know and credit my original art of course).

I hope there are some fans out there that like this and as always I am very keen to hear people's thoughts on it
