- Le Grand Prix automobile des Pays-Bas est une épreuve qui a compté pour le championnat du monde de Formule 1 entre 1952 et 1985. Il s'est toujours déroulé sur le circuit de Zandvoort, dessiné par le designer néerlandais John Hugenholtz. Les deux éditions 1939 et 1948, avant la création du championnat du monde, portaient le nom de Grand Prix de Zandvoort. Les préoccupations en matière de sécurité, la mauvaise gestion financière du circuit dans les années 1970 et des contestations contre les nuisances sonores et environnementales font que le circuit est délaissé, après un dernier Grand Prix en 1985. Le 14 mai 2019, le Grand Prix des Pays-Bas est annoncé de retour au calendrier du championnat du monde de Formule 1 dès 2020, après 35 ans d'absence, grâce notamment à la nouvelle ferveur du public néerlandais pour la Formule 1 depuis l’ascension de Max Verstappen. Cependant, l'édition 2020 est annulée le 28 mai 2020 en raison de la pandémie de Covid-19. Le Grand Prix est reconduit au calendrier pour la saison 2021, où Max Verstappen s'impose devant ses dizaines de milliers de supporters. (fr)
