Ce modèle permet de décrire de façon cohérentes entre les articles les spécifications techniques des avions et hélicoptères. Il est compatible du modèle utilisé sur le Wikipédia anglophone (Template:Aircraft specifications), ce qui permet de copier/coller directement les sources anglophone dans le Wikipédia francophone avec une traduction automatique du nom des champs, seul le texte des champ reste à traduire.

Remplir les spécifications avec les unités appropriées, main (unités SI de préférence) puis alt si pertinent (ex : vitesse en kts ou altitude en ft).

La syntaxe d'un paramètre est la suivante : param main (param alt) param more.

Si le champ main n'est pas rempli, les champs alt et more n'apparaissent pas.
