Borgia family
This will be a genealogical account of the Borgia family (it was a Spanish family, whose name was spelled "Borja" in Spanish). The part of the family of which my materials treat begins with the marriage of two distant cousins:
Rodrigue Gil de Borja, a son of Gonzago Gil de Borja; m.Dona Sybila de Orms (+1409); They had two children:
Jeanne; m.N Serra and
Joffre de Borja y Doms, +before 24.3.1437; m.Isabella de Borja, Dame de Lugar et de La Tour de Canali (+19.10.1468), dau.of Domingo de Borja and Francisca (Marti), a sister of Alonso de Borja, who became in 1455 Pope Calixtus III; they had issue:
