Fascinating.
Under the influence of Eddie Campbell, don't you think?

I see what you mean, alright. Those figures at the bar in the last two panels are pure Campbell, now that I look at them again.

Just found this while googling Myra Hancock, who is actually my mum. If you have any more of these I would love for you to share them. If not, I have a pile of her old comic books knocking around the house to share with you.

Seb, I'd love to see more of her work. If you could both drop me a line at pomealoid [at] yahoo [dot] com , we can take it from there.

Alan Moore donated that story to give me a leg up but I was so dumb I didn't even mention it on the cover. I wince at the memory. Then, soon after, a mainstream magazine ran an article about cartoonists/comic writers with us all supposedly saying stuff we'd never actually said about Alan Moore. looking back i wish we d got together and taken out a full page Ad trashing the article and exposing them for the crap shysters they were but- massive error of judgement here- i didn't. i just wrote to the magazine. and Alan Moore. but I found out years later he had moved and never got my letter which explained I never slagged him off. I said everyone has an Alan Moore comic somewhere. he's like the Pink Floyd of comics. to me, a child of the 60s teen in the 70s that was a compliment. for all the glam rock and disco and punk it was a heady youth sub culture time with mods and skinheads straddling the decade in different guises.
