Research

• I am currenly a member of the Nokia Research Center in Palo Alto.
• I got my Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2006, advised by Leo Guibas and Marc Levoy. I was part of the Forma Urbis Romae Project and the Guibas Lab.
• I got my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Brown University. At Brown I was part of the Center for Geometric Computing, along with lots of other cool folks. Between Brown and Stanford I worked at Oracle for a year.

Photography

• Most of my pictures live on my smugmug website.
• I keep around a small set recent favourites.
• Photos with trip reports and annotations are collected on a separate page.
• It's become a tradition for a group of us to do a spring ride up Mount Hamilton. Same ride in: 2003, 2002, 2001, and2000.

• Climbing at Goat Rock.

Odds and Ends

• Sunnyvaleand Providenceweather. Especially fun to compare in the middle of summer and winter.

• I used to watch Babylon 5. Once, having too much free time on my hands, I compiled this list of Babylon 5 Unix Shells from some newsgroup posts.
