How It Begins

FooM is a text adaptation of the 1993 shooter game Doom, containing a recreation of the level "E1M1: Hangar" from the original game. It is supposedly made by "di Software", a spoof of the Doom developer id Software.

You are a space marine, wielding a pistol with some bullets and carrying a lamp. You are standing at the entry bay to the hangar. Your goal, much like in Doom, is to survive the monsters roaming the hangar and find the level exit.
