Heroes of our time

The same characters that can be found in "Menty" are present in this film, but the place of action is Chechnya. The film combines the merits of a TV series and action thriller, and few of their drawbacks. The film does not picture dead-earnest cops, but has a wonderful touch of humour. At the same time it is not a comic series about war. It's very true to life, as it has both funny and gloomy sides. The actors who are cast in the film are very popular in Russia, and their characters are a mark of the time. They can truly be called heroes of our time.
