About Us

The Government of Hong Kong SAR accepted the Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong as a Charitable Organisation and a Certificate of Incorporation was issued on 1 December 1970. The Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong is generally known among Hong Kong Muslims as “The Board of Trustees.”

The Government of Hong Kong SAR recognizes the Board of Trustees (BOT) as the main body representing the interests of the Muslim Community in Hong Kong.

Today there are more than 300,000 Muslims in Hong Kong, of whom about 30,000 are Chinese, 30,000 are from Pakistan and 150,000 are Indonesians. The others are mostly non-Chinese born in Hong Kong. There are also Muslims from India, Malaysia and Middle Eastern and African countries.

Today is 29 Zul Hajj, we not not received any information of moon sighting, There are not possibility of today sighting, because moon is born at 18:37 and moon set is at 18:51 whereas sunset is 18:43 So tomorrow would be 30 Zul Hajj and new year 1441 and new month Muhram will begin from 1st September Sunday
