[**Current Mood** | ecstatic]i posted it on myspace, so sorry if its a re-read, but heres my engagement story and shots of the ring. enjoy!-------------Sooo about two years ago me and geo had our first date at sam's boat - a resturaunt/bar in houston. for quite some time now, wednesday nights are always our 'date nights.' he decided he wanted to go to sams since we'd hadnt gone in a while.after we ate he told me he was on call and needed to check the pager that he left in his car. he came back and we just did our normal hanging out. end of the night rolls around and its time to say our goodbye's. I get to my car and see that theres a card sitting on my steering wheel. i think 'ohhh thats so cute, he got me a card.' but on the inside it says 'check out the cd' and im thinking 'aww thats so cute, he made me a mix tape!' but to my surprise there wasnt music on the cd, it was him talking. he'd tricked me with the pager ploy to come out and plant this little surprise for me.on the cd he was talking about how he loved me and thought i should have a special ring, and to check under my seat. As i felt under my seat i pulled out this little bag from tiffany's and im thinkin 'oh man.. if he was just gonna buy me some random ring, it wouldnt be from tiffany's'. so i open up the wrapping and put the actual ring box aside because i wanted him to be able to open it.I look down at my cd player, which scrolls the title of the track across the face and it all made sense when i saw 'marrymelover' scrolling across the screen. On the cd he's talking about how he should be dancing about my car any moment and i look up and sure enough here he comes running to me with a daisy in his mouth and as he gets up to my car window he rips open his button up shirt and there, on his white undershirt - written in crayon of all things - it says "MARRY ME!" I'm cryin at this point so he gets in the car and i hand over the ring box and when he opened it and put it on my finger i was thinking "HOLY CRAP, THAT IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!" it was a perfect fit since he STOLE my class ring sometime ago that i used to wear on that finger.At the end of the cd he tells me again about how much he loves me and that hes gonna play a song for me. Suddenly the track fades out and the cd starts to play "At Last" by Etta James - a song that he's always teased me for because i love it so much and get so into it. it was THE perfect song and THE perfect touch to a PERFECT evening with a PERFECT proposal to the PERFECT man.It was incredible - i couldnt have asked for anything more. it was so romantic and he did it all pretty much all on his own. im so proud! lolso there ya have it. im getting married to a liar, a scheemer, and a thief!And i couldnt be the least bit happier. =]im know i left some stuff out and i know the editing of this is crap, but its mostly to kind of remind me how things played out. i'll have the actual cd forever to remember all the stuff he said and i'll have the ring forever to remind me of how incredible that night was and how incredible the man i get to marry is.for those people out there askin about ring specs, i got the info from geo.its from tiffany & co., the center stone is .54 carats and the total carat weight is .60 carats, and the actual ring is platinum. im not exactly sure of the cut on the center stone, but it's amazing! I love it!!------------     =D |

sleepy]did i forget to mention...
indescribable]today is June 20, my wedding day.wow... time has flown by. i have no worries about the marriage but am extremely nervous about the wedding. we are terribly unprepared... if my mother can refrain from flipping out on anyone, including me, i will consider everything else a success.wish me luck.:)
