Hi LLVM-Dev,

Does anyone know the stability of the \`MachineInstr::setPreInstrSymbol\` APIs? There's still a FIXME in the header from the original commit by Chandler.

I see they're being used by the x86 retpoline-introducing code: this tells me the API is pretty stable - is this a reasonable assumption?
