The IESG has received a request from the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Bis WG (httpbis) to consider the following document:
- 'Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP/1.1): Authentication' <draft-ietf-httpbis-p7-auth-24.txt> as Proposed Standard

Abstract
The Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is an application-level protocol for distributed, collaborative, hypermedia information systems. This document defines the HTTP Authentication framework.
