Eric,

you raised an issue which was captured in
http://www.w3.org/2000/03/rdf-tracking/#rdfms-not-id-and-resource-attr
as
[[[ The grammar does not permit the use of an ID attribute to assign a URI to the reification of a statement where the object of the statement is specified by an rdf:resource attribute. ]]]
As recorded in
http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/RDFCore/20020225-f2f/#d-2002-02-26-2
the RDFCore WG has decided: [[ rdf:Description <foo:bar rdf:ID="foo" rdf:resource="bar"/>
Is legal. ]]
Note: In this case the rdf:ID will identify the reification of the statememt.
Please could you respond to this message, copying www-rdf-comments@w3.org indicating whether this is an acceptable resolution of this issue.
