The Steklov Institute of Mathematics in St. Petersburg, Russia , and the Technische Universität München organise the first common Winter School in St. Petersburg from February 16th through February 26th. It is financed by the Bavarian Ministry of Economics, by the Siemens AG and by the German organisation DAAD.
The School addresses highly motivated and interested students. The courses demand active preparation and contribution of the participants. The courses are held in English language.
Expenses for travel, board and lodging are covered by the School.
The selection of applicants is performed on the basis of their qualifications. It is made by the course lecturers.
