I don't really want to add more things to the language, so I hate to say this: It makes sense to me. However, the syntax�is very close to the syntax for function annotations. But that's when defining, and this is when calling, so it might work anyway, I don't have the knowledge necessary to know.

�So put it up on python-ideas. I'm not on that list, but people who know more about this are, so they can tell you if this is feasible or not and if it is a good idea or not.
