Charging And Discharging A Capacitor

A capacitor is an electrical device used for storing electric charge. The basic capacitor design consists of two parallel conducting plates separated by an insulating layer called a dielectric. Use the mouse cursor to control the Switch Position slider, and discover how a capacitor is charged and discharged with current from the battery.
