- The MoonBlaster 1.4 driver for MSX-BASIC by BiFi was updated with the following changes:
  * added detection for 256K Sample RAM
  * added _MBKBANK which allows for loading up to 7 additional sample kits
  * increased the number of extra allocatable banks from 4 to 28
  * fixed a bug causing drive letters to not be allowed in DOS1

- The Multi-IPS Archive tools by BiFi were updated to v1.11 with support for creating new files in a MIA patch.

- The MoonBlaster 1.4 driver for MSX-BASIC by BiFi was updated with the following changes:
  * added detection for memory mapper availability and size in DOS1
  * added detection for other than real MSX-AUDIO
  * improved stability when switching between Z80 and R800 on MSXturboR
BiFi's version of the official MoonBlaster 1.4 player source code is now much more beginner-friendly, due to the following changes:
* merged MBPLAY.SRC and MBPLAY2.SRC
* translated the comments to English
* added conditional assembly flags
* added detection for other than real MSX-AUDIO

- Sorry for the glacial updates, but we're still alive and doing a lot of MSX work behind the scenes. News for today is a small update to the ESE3 info page to remove any possible ambiguities in the paragraph about the disk switching procedure.

- A new version of the Multi IPS Archive (MIA) tools by BiFi! Version 1.1 supports making filename changes and multi-disk software.

- BiFi starts off the new year with the release of his new Multi IPS Archive (MIA) tools. With a single MIA file you can patch multiple destination files! Creating MIA files currently requires the powerful and flexible tniASM v1.0. The first MIA files are already available on the MSX IPS Archive!

- BiFi starts off the new year with a bugfix release of his MoonBlaster 1.4 driver for MSX-BASIC. A lock-up in the Sample RAM Detection was fixed, as well as a bug that caused filenames without extensions to not work under Disk-BASIC v1.
