She was a British pianist most renowned for her interpretations of the Mozart, Beethoven and Schumann.
She made a well-known arrangement for piano of the chorale prelude "Jesu, bleibet meine Freude" from Johann Sebastian Bach's Cantata No. 147 "Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben".
