A new building is being opened on the site of a South Yorkshire school which was destroyed by fire six years ago.

Hatfield High School near Doncaster was burned to the ground in 2001. The main hall and 18 classrooms were destroyed in the blaze.

A new maths, art and design block at the re-named Hatfield Visual Arts College will be opened by Education Secretary Alan Johnson.

Since the fire students have been having lessons in portable buildings.
