Amoruso is players' choice
Owen Coyle, Lorenzo Amoruso and Kevin McNaughton
Lorenzo Amoruso is the choice of Scotland's footballers as player of the year for 2001-2.
The Rangers defender received the trophy at the Players' Union player of the year awards dinner after winning the vote from his fellow professionals.
Aberdeen's versatile Kevin McNaughton was named young player of the year as champions Celtic surprisingly missed out on the two main awards.
The divisional awards all went to strikers.

Airdrieonians' Owen Coyle was top man in Division One, Queen of the South's John O'Neil won the Second Division award, while East Fife's Paul McManus was voted for most in Division Three.
Former Celtic and Scotland winger Jimmy Johnstone, who is suffering from motor neurone disease, received a special merit award.
Amoruso held off the challenge of Celtic captain Paul Lambert, who last week had won the vote among sports writers.
There was double disappointment for his Celtic Park midfield colleague, Stilian Petrov, who was in the running for the main award and the young player section but missed out on both.
Some consolation for fans of the Bulgarian is the news that he is poised to pledge his future to the Parkhead club for the next five years.
He has been in impressive form since returning from a leg break and he is ready to put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him with Celtic until 2007.
"Right now the important thing is the cup final - but, after that, I expect to sign my new contract," said Petrov.
"I've been talking with the club and I am happy with the way things have progressed.
"The fact I am willing to stay for another five years shows the belief I have in the club and Martin O'Neill."
