Forfar Athletic 2-0 Stranraer

Homecoming Scottish Cup

Forfar eased into the fourth-round of the Scottish Cup with victory over nine-man Stranraer at Station Park.

The hosts hit the crossbar and post before Stranraer's Ian Dobbins was sent off for aiming a punch at team-mate James McKinstry.

McKinstry then saw red in the 70th minute for his second bookable offence.

Forfar took the lead in the 83rd minute when Graham Gibson headed home Kevin Gordon's cross and Sean Kilgannon's cool finish in injury-time sealed it.
