Ross County 0-0 Brechin City

Second Division leaders Ross County could not break down a shamelessly defensive Brechin.

Sean Higgins' dipping 20-yard free-kick brushed the crossbar and Dene Shields fired narrowly over from 20 yards as the home team pressed.

Shields was later inches away from connecting with a diving header from Higgins' dangerous cross.

Brechin posed a rare threat with a Kevin Byers' free-kick but keeper Tony Bullock palmed the ball to safety.
