Peterhead scored late to record a narrow Second Division win over Alloa.

The home side were awarded a penalty on 33 minutes when Dennis Wyness was fouled by Scott Walker.

But Conor Gethans sent his spot-kick wide minutes before picking up an injury and having to be replaced by Graeme Sharp.

The match appeared to be heading for a draw before Stuart Anderson intervened, the midfielder heading into the net with four minutes remaining.
