Robert Sloan scored twice as East Fife romped to a 4-1 win over Alloa to move into seventh place in the table.

Robert Linn's 30-yard curler put East Fife ahead but Scott Walker equalised in the second period with a close-range shot from Darren Smith's corner.

Steve Hislop restored East Fife's lead with a tap-in from Linn's cross and Sloan added a third from the spot after Willie Gibson fouled Craig Johnstone.

Sloan completed the scoring eight minutes from time with a 20-yard shot.
