Brechin City v East Fife
Brechin have been hit by the news that long-term injury victim Paul Boylan has ruptured cruciate ligaments.
Manager Dick Campbell said: "The lad has a major decision ahead of him whether or not to give up football.
"He has been injured since last season and I have not seen him play but Paul Sturrock, who was his manager when he was at Dundee United, tells me he is a good player."
Meanwhile Roddy Black misses out against East Fife whose manager Rab Shannon has a full squad but is disappointed at missing out on his bid to sign former Clydebank midfielder Grant Johnston.
Dumbarton v Cowdenbeath
Dumbarton will give a late check on Paddy Flannery who has an ankle injury but manager Jimmy Brown feels his side has another problem.
He is anxiously waiting for the club's new stadium to be completed.
"We need a place of our own. Although it is very thoughtful of Albion Rovers to allow us to play at Cliftonhill and we are indebted to them," said Brown.
"I feel that our play is being affected because we have to travel for every game."
Cowden manager Craig Levein said: "We have a poor record against Dumbarton when we play them at Boghead but we have a good record when we go to Cliftonhill although admittedly that is against Albion Rovers.
"Maybe playing at Cliftonhill on Saturday will help us."
Cowden add Graham Brown to the squad.
East Stirling v Albion Rovers
East Stirling midfielder Kevin Gordon has emigrated to Australia and manager George Fairley admitted: "It is a blow for us as he has been playing well.
"But the lad could not turn down the opportunity of a new life - he has a job waiting for him."
Also out is Steve Stewart who is best man at his brother's wedding as they face Albion Rovers who wait for two of their starting line-up from last week who have flu.
Elgin City v Montrose
Elgin manager Alex Caldwell is on the search to bring in newcomers but names an unchanged squad to face Montrose.
Montrose boss Kevin Drinkell will keep the side which drew last week with Dumbarton.
Hamilton v Peterhead
Hamilton have signed former Hearts midfielder Stuart Callaghan on a short-term deal.
But manager Ally Dawson stressed: "Stuart is coming to us for a month with the view of staying here for a much longer time.
"He has the experience and quality to strengthen our side and just calm us down for I feel that we have been rushing too much in our attacks."
Callaghan was with Irish club Linfield last season and recently has turned out for Second Division Clydebank and will be included in the Hamilton side to play Peterhead.
Meanwhile Peterhead's recent signing from Arbroath, Kevin Tindall, could start while manager Ian Wilson warns: "We must tighten up in defence, but we have started the season well."
