Falkirk's Staunton joins Berwick
Staunton has waved a temporary goodbye to Falkirk Stadium Falkirk defender Mark Staunton has joined Berwick Rangers on loan until the end of the season. And Berwick manager Michael Renwick has agreed a deal to bring in a midfielder on 1 January and hopes to add a striker during the month-long transfer window.Staunton, 18, began his career with Celtic before moving to Charlton for �100,000 on a three-year deal in 2006 but joined Falkirk in August.Bairns boss John Hughes said: "We were concerned about his lack of games."
