Ramsey has attracted Premier League interest

Cardiff City teenager Aaron Ramsey has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The 17-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs and the Bluebirds rejected a �1m bid for him last summer.

Ramsey made his Cardiff debut against Hull last season and won his first Wales Under-21 cap in the 4-3 win over Sweden in August.

"If I keep my feet on the ground, 2008 could be a big year for me," he said.

Cardiff have not said how long the contract will run for.
