Garry Kenneth and Greg Cameron have represented Scotland

Dundee United have extended the contracts of Greg Cameron and Garry Kenneth, teenagers who have both broken into the first-team at Tannadice.

They both extended their deals for three seasons, until 2010.

Cameron, an 18-year-old midfielder, has become a regular starter this season and has now made 17 appearances for the Scottish Premier League outfit.

Defender Kenneth, a year older, first broke into the side in February 2005 and has now made 32 appearances.

Both were members of the Scotland squad that were runners-up in the Under-19 European Championships in Poland this summer.

Cameron also captained the side to victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina and Estonia.

He had become the youngest player to appear for United in the SPL as a 16-year-old when he came on as a substitute in United's 3-0 victory over Kilmarnock on 11 December 2004.

Cameron started a game for the first time at the tail end of last season.

Kenneth was only 17 when he played in the Scottish Cup final of 2005 as United lost to Celtic.

Both players are from Dundee and have come through the Tannadice youth ranks.
