Manchester United defender Fabio da Silva has signed a contract extension with the Premier League champions that will expire in 2014.
The Brazilian left-back, who moved to Old Trafford with his twin brother Rafael in July 2008 when they turned 18, has made 13 appearances for United.
"Fabio has had bad luck with injuries but he is a natural footballer," said boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
"He will make a fine Manchester United player in the years to come."
Fabio, now 19, said: "Playing for Manchester United is every young player's dream.
"I am very happy and proud to commit my future to the club.
"In the time I have been here, I have learned a lot from the world-class players that I train with and I hope that as time goes on, I can contribute more and more to the success of this great club."
Rafael signed a two-year contract extension last season.
